Hi Everyone,

I've been tidying up my computer files and chasing old expired links on webpages I made eons ago and delightfully discovered that one of our own has been published. Go Courtney![/hidden]

Out of curiosity, any one else published anything and I can go look up your work and squee?

I have an account on FF.net, and I have written many stories about Sen/Shi under my pen name blunotte. I have also an account on tumblr with my fan art.
Mostly Rei/Jadeite.

Hi!

Sorry I wasn't clear. Embarassed I meant authors who have moved from fanfiction, into paid publishing. The most well known at the moment is probably Cassandra Clare who moved from Harry Potter to The Mortal Instruments, although I personally am not a fan (this blogger summarises how I feel).

A Sailor Moon author who's gotten published is Aria of Aria's Ink. Her Usagi/Mamoru romance: "Sweet Revenge" was re-worked into the self-published "Playing the Game", but since then she's published 7 original titles. Here's her author page on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6355641.Kait_Gamble

In our fandom niche, dutchesscourtney (http://cbrandtwright.livejournal.com/ OR https://www.fanfiction.net/~dutchesscourtney) is also published and you can find her marching band series on Amazon.

I'm just waiting for LovelyLytton to announce her published series. Wink She'll be the next Kerstin Gier (author of the Ruby Red trilogy).

I heard Marissa Meyer used to be a Sailor Moon fanfic author (though don't quote me on that, since I've been known to have jumbled memories). She's now a published author, her books being The Lunar Chronicles.

You're correct!! She used to go by Alicia Blade. Here's the link to her ff.net profile where she talks a bit about that in her bio Smile
